Awesome Inventions Worth Noting in 2021

Valve Index

Valve Index

Valve Index is the way to go for players who are serious about VR gaming. Although it is not self-contained and requires a room setup with connections, it is the best VR experience available right now. The Valve Index has a lot going for it, with dual 1440 x 1600 LCDs with up to 144Hz frame rates, stereo 960 x 960 global-shutter cameras, and a dual-microphone array. However, Valve’s pricing for its product – $999 might not be appealing to everyone.

Hoversurf

Hoversurf

Sure, we’re close to seeing flying cars and other levitating transport models, but Hoversurf is transforming personal transport while keeping it super cool. Hoversurf’s S3 is quadcopter superbike which can not only take off and land at any concrete surface but also hovers above the ground at 60 miles per hour. The body of the flying bike is made of carbon fiber which makes it super light and agile, giving it a weight of only 250 pounds.

The vehicle has already been deployed as part of Dubai Police's fleet of supercars and superbikes that thieves will find difficult to avoid. Riders are advised to fly the hoverbike at a height of 5 feet, which can be changed as needed. While this is an early concept, we hope to see it evolve into genuine flying motorcycles in the future.

Eyelights – The First Holographic Car Assistant

Eyelights

Thanks to systems like Eyelights, the days of being distracted from the road while interacting with your car's entertainment system will soon be history. Eyelights is a concept technology that employs a holograph instead of an actual screen to display information such as maps, car vital numbers, speed, and so on. This allows you to maintain your focus on the road while dealing with the system.

Further, since there is no physical screen, you can simply wave your hand in the air to control the system which makes it super handy (pun intended). Eyelights is definitely designed to improve and revolutionize how we interact with our cars and is capable of replacing touch interfaces completely.

Phree Electronic Sensor Pen

Phee Electronic Pen

Phree, which claims to be the world's first unrestricted write-virtually-anywhere electronic sensor pen, is exactly what you need to scribble down your thoughts whenever, whenever, and on almost anything. It shines in most areas, whether sketching, annotating, or simply writing. So, how exactly does it work? Well, it comes with a 3D optical tracking engine that measures its motion accurately and then sends the digital link to the connected Bluetooth device. Sounds interesting, doesn’t it?

Cubinote – Smart Sticky Note Printer

Cubinotes

Sticky notes are handy and besides reminding us about important tasks, they keep our desks colorful and lively. Cubinote takes this a step further by letting you print anything on colored sticky notes. The mini printer connects to any device wirelessly via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and can print anything on these colorful notes even without ink.

In practice, Cubinote works with a special kind of heat-sensitive paper and uses heat to print on top of this paper, which can be sliced into notes of any length and stuck almost everywhere using the existing adhesive on the back of the paper. Cubinote makes it to our list of cool and awesome inventions for its ease of use and ability to brighten up any workspace.
