Members of the club are expected to be “extraordinarily interesting and interested.”
“The Club,” first founded in 1764, became the Blacks Club in 1992 after a makeover of the premises. Blacks is a place to leave your career and ego at the door; it’s a place of simplicity, elegance and honesty, where members can congregate to set the world to rights while enjoying the setting of a beautiful 18th century townhouse. Blacks Club is a dog friendly members club. While it is primarily a supper club, other activities—like poetry and private music nights—are offered.
